vanaf 15 december gelden er weer nieuwe corona maatregelen.
op 14 december heeft de overheid weer een periode met strengere
maatregelen aangekondigd.
ook de gemeente heerlen heeft ons vandaag medegedeeld, dat
alle binnensportaccommodaties (gymzalen, sportzalen en sport-
hallen) vanaf vandaag tot ten minste 19 januari gesloten zijn.
er kan onder voorwaarden wel buiten gesport worden. Jongeren
tot 18 jaar kunnen buiten blijven sporten en trainen in team-
verband. er is de mogelijkheid om alternatieve buitentrainingen
voor de jeugd op te zetten, maar dat is in dit jaargetijde niet zinvol.
 
voor de badmintoncompetitie (Bond en Regio) wordt het uitspelen
minder makkelijk. badminton nederland  hanteert nog steeds de
bestaande routekaart. maar het wordt ook na andere alternatieven
gekeken. Badminton nederland zal bij tijd de nodige info’s geven.

we have long hoped for an improvement in
the "Corona Situation" in the Netherlands  and the other
European countries.
thus, the government's communication of
Netherlands on last Tuesday, 9.12.2020.
official badminton competitions, outside the top league,
and tournaments may not take place.
so, with pain in our hearts,  we need to cancel the tournament in consultation  with badminton nederland  and badminton Europe. in the last days.
the numerous teams  from different countries, the clubs and the players who had already registered for the tournament  received a  message about the cancellation  by mail. Even as our partners, sponsors, supporters, owners of the sports halls and staff.
it is the first time after more than 40 years that this  nationally  and  internationally known and  appreciated event cannot take place.
we are very sorry about this, but we have no other
Choice.
